How it works
As our skin ages, the repair and rejuvenation mechanisms begin to decline naturally - this starts from the age of 25 years. The effect of this is the collagen density decreases in our skin and elastin production declines.
Micro-needling is a skin rejuvenation treatment that naturally helps trigger collagen and elastin synthesis within the skin with maximum results and minimum down-time. It’s safe for nearly all skin types.
The technique works by creating microscopic channels in the skin while still keeping the epidermis intact. This process actively produces growth factors which induce collagen producing cells known as fibroblasts to produce fresh new collagen and elastin which are essential in keeping the dermis elastic and resilient thus firmer and wrinkle free and glowing.

What to do before and after the treatment
TREATMENT ADVICE:
Skin Needling is a specialised regenerative treatment that safely penetrates the superficial layers of skin, aiding in repair and rejuvenation. Due to its nature, you should follow these instructions. Please avoid certain treatments or skin care routines that may result in increased sensitivity of your skin a week before and after treatment:
Strong exfoliants or AHAs/BHAs
Vitamin A, Retin-A, chemical peels
Injectables fillers or Botox
Skin bleaching products
Hair waxing on the treatment area
POST - TREATMENT
Your skin may feel warm to touch immediately after the treatment.
For the first 3 days your skin may feel more sensitive to touch.
You might peel in the first 3-5 days following your treatment. This is a completely normal process due to the dead skin cells being stimulated upwards.
Avoid intense exercise for at least 24 hours after treatment.
For the best results, do not wear make up for at least 12 hours. Mineral makeup products are acceptable.
Avoid sun exposure after treatment. If you have to be in the sun, you must wear sunscreen with the appropriate SPF protection.
Make sure you keep your face clean at all times the week after your treatment. Only wash your skin with a lightweight cleanser that has non-active ingredients.
Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
