Brow Lamination

Achieve the fluffy, full, and bold brows look with zero effort with this technique of eyebrow lamination.

Brow lamination is a treatment that provides a similar result to microblading (eyebrow tattooing) that’s completely pain-free and without any downtime. Think of it like a perm or chemical straightening for your eyebrows. This is one of the most requested and highly rated service in our beauty boutique in Newstead.

Brow Lamination involves straightening the brow hairs upwards to create a brushed up, fluffy effect. It’s perfect for those who have brow hairs that curl or grow in irregular directions, have gaps because of this, or who simply want a fuller brushed up look. This treatment is great for messy brows, and for brows that (whilst having hair) are patchy or need width, as it creates naturally voluminous brows lasting around 6 weeks.

How does Brow Lamination Work?

Brow lamination includes two different keratin solutions (similar to a Lash Lift) and one oil treatment to ensure the brows remain healthy. The brow is brushed and glued into the desired shape and the first solution is left on for around 10 minutes. The Beauty Element uses professional, dermatologically tested products only, with longer processing times, to ensure the brows are not over processed and remain healthy during and after the treatment.

The second step is then applied, which secures the hairs in their new brushed up position and balances the skin and hairs pH levels.

At this point, hybrid tinting or henna will be applied, and any additional trimming (if required – generally we shape the brows first, but refinement may be needed at the end).

The final step is to apply a nourishing argan oil treatment which will hydrate the hairs and keep them nourished for 24 hours.

How do I look after my laminated brows?

At the end of the treatment, we will give you a disposable mascara wand/spoolie – use this to gently brush the brows upwards into their desired shape regularly, particularly when you wake up in the morning. This will help to set them into the shape you desire.

For 24 hours, avoid anything that will sit tightly over the brows, i.e. a helmet – you don’t want to push them or bend them too much for the first 24 hours.

Try to keep your brows as dry as possible for the first 24 hours. If they become wet, gently pat them dry and brush them back up into shape. After 24 hours, when yiu wash your face, wipe the brows upwards as you wet them.

To nourish them, we highly recommend a light daily application of ‘Usama Oil’, a wonderful product by Innovator Cosmetics, which contains effective natural oil to promote healthy hair growth. This product can also be used as on a regular basis and as an aftercare product, and helps to nourish and protect brow hairs.
